Year 6 Hoodies

You may have noticed a new addition to the Strand uniform this week. Year 6 received their long awaited Leavers Hoodies on Tuesday and children lower down the school are already planning which colour they will order when it is their turn to take part in ‘Operation Hoodie’. Well done to Year 6 who raised nearly £1,250 in their ‘Grow a pound’ campaign to fund their hoodies and leave plenty in the kitty for years to come. The ‘legacy fund’ for Year 5 is £528.95, Year 4 is £396.71 and Year 3 is £264.48! A special thank you to Melissa Sanchez and Zoe Corney who masterminded the whole project.
