Dragon Boating

On Monday we travelled to Kingston to have a new experience of dragon boating on the Thames. We worked in pairs to steer the boats and had great fun racing our friends. Each boat had a different phrase that was shouted to help keep us in time and that certainly helped us to go faster! We would love to go again and would certainly recommend it! By Julia and Yunus.

Osmington Bay Residential

A very excited Year 6 finally set off for their residential to Osmington Bay in Dorset on Wednesday morning. The sun was shining when they arrived and they have had a fun filled few days - check out the pictures below! A huge thank you to all the staff who have given up their time to accompany the children, do the pre trip risk assessment visits, chase permission slips and medical forms to make this journey happen. Mr Thorne will be contacting families next week who have outstanding payments to settle.

Meanwhile Back at the Ranch

Year 6 who have been school based for the week have been treated to a packed activity week of their own. Thursday saw a sports camp run by Mr Ingram where everyone threw themselves into the fun. The home team had a great time at school taking part in a variety of sports and competing in mini matches throughout the week. A highlight being a table tennis tournament, where Moheeb and Mazen battled it out in the final with Moheeb coming out victorious!
