Year 4 River Trip

4B enjoyed the final river trip this Thursday and there was much learning to be had. We cringed on discovering the revolting state the Thames was in 150 years ago, made predictions about the level of pollution in the water today and tested it to see if we were correct. During our exploration of the foreshore we were amazed at all the wildlife we were able to catch. Eight crabs, multiple leeches and even an eel! Though not electric, as first hoped, he was a fantastic specimen. We can thoroughly recommend a trip down to the foreshore. It is teeming with life.
