Year 2 Taster Day and Parents Meeting

Year 2 joined the Juniors for their taster day today and thoroughly enjoyed it! They spent the whole day in the Juniors and experienced a 'normal' day complete with Maths, English, Reading, ICT, Music and PE! They also had a special assembly with Year 5 and ate their lunch in the Junior Hall. Phew!  No wonder they were exhausted as they made their way back to their classrooms tired but happy at the end of the day.

At the end of the afternoon it was the turn of the Year 2 parents to be inducted into life in the Juniors. Tara Ristic, Genna Pasch and Sorcha Kennedy Alexander explained routines and discussed the transition.   We have prepared a welcome pack for each family and if you weren't able to get along to the meeting your copy will be sent home tomorrow.
