UKMT Junior Maths Challenge

Several children in Years 4, 5 and 6 took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge earlier this term. This is a competition that is open to children across the country up to Year 8 and the questions are really demanding as a result. The results are just in and they are very impressive. Our pupils were awarded 2 golds (Esa and Marlowe), 12 silvers (Tyler K, Karter, Fadi, Ziad, Matty, Patrick, Carla, Egor, Hannah, Kolka, Reema and Majid) and 14 bronzes (Dylan, Gaia, Phoebe, Vladi, Suki, Vasishta, Eva, Ayrton, Gantisha, Anais BB, Fineas, Halel, Kaan and Marni). Congratulations to everyone who took part for showing such resilience in the face of some tricky questions, and a special mention to the three intrepid Year 4 mathletes, Cary, Fraser and Ruaridh who narrowly missed out on bronze. #scholarly
