Sustrans Big Pedal Challenge

For the next two weeks we are taking part in Sustrans Big Pedal 2021, the UK’s largest inter-school cycling, walking, wheeling and scooting challenge. The challenge runs from 19th April to 30th April and we’d love everyone to get involved! Making the school run active is a great way for children to get exercise, which is important for physical health and mental wellbeing as well as helping to reduce congestion and air pollution around our school. Families are encouraged to take active journeys to school on as many days as possible during the event. Each day we will be entered into a prize draw and our Year 6 team captains will be helping to see which classes have had the most active journeys to school.
