Summer of Sport Continues

The sporting summer continued at Strand Juniors with the Sports Day yesterday. The events were run very efficiently with lots of intense activity and we were blessed with near perfect sporting conditions. The mix of competitive races and team activities was as popular as ever with children and parents alike. Thank you to Mr Allkins who executed Sports Day with aplomb – it was certainly popular with the children! The team totals are added to the running totals for the Inter House Cup which will be awarded at the end of term. Thank you to all the adult helpers who managed the stations and to all the parents who encouraged the teams. A special mention to our Year 6 Sports Assistants who manned stages in the 3 and 4 event. Results will be announced in assembly next week.
