Strand Joins the Mini London Marathon

The Official Virgin Money London Marathon will take place this Sunday 3rd October and yet again, Strand will join in by competing in the Mini Marathon! We have started the challenge this week in PE and the goal is for as many children to run 2.6 miles as possible. Last year 172 children were able to run the 2.6 miles, with many running further. This time round the children are once again embracing the challenge and demonstrating many of the Strand values. Special shout outs to go Joshua 6RH, Gabriel 4RM, Daniel 5H, Gabriel 5S, who ran an incredible number of laps between them. Year 3 made a great start and will be completing their race next week.
