Secondary Simulation
Well, this week has certainly been a busy one in Year 6 - or should I say Year 7! Secondary simulation week has been taking place everyday and the children have really risen to the challenge. With a new expectation to organise themselves with equipment, find their way to different classrooms, ensure that their parents have signed their planners and manage a much more demanding homework schedule, every child has been able to experience a taste of life at secondary school. The children have demonstrated real responsibility and maturity throughout this week and should be incredibly proud of how they have conducted themselves. It won’t be long before we are sending them off to their secondary schools and this has served as a perfect practice. A huge well done to Year 6 for taking it in their stride and embracing it with the spirit with which it was intended - even the detentions!
