School Council Meets Governors

School Council have had a busy week! Not only did they meet with the Challenge Partners visitors to discuss their plans for improving ‘the dining experience’ at Strand but they also presented their findings to Lisa Hutchinson and Diana Martin from the Governing Body today. School Council have been researching how members of the Strand Community feel about the dining hall and have begun to draw up an action plan to make the hall a more pleasant place to eat. All our visitors commented on how clearly the children expressed their opinions and the Governors were impressed that they had undertaken such important work on behalf of the school. Well done to School Council and Mr Naslund for all of their efforts – as Tom in 3R said when asked how he was enjoying being on the School Council, "It’s all meetings, meetings, meetings!"
