Quiz Results Are In

Last Friday evening, five teams went head to head for the coveted Strand Quiz title. Last year's champions, the teachers, made a poor start and never recovered, narrowly avoiding last place from a plucky team of Year 3 parents, whose number had depleted by the end. After leading throughout, a team of boisterous Year 4 and 6 parents fell at the final hurdle, and ended in a distant third. Perennial dark horses, the learning support team, performed admirably throughout, but in an upset, were pipped to the post by the Infants team, who scored very strongly on the table quiz to claim victory. Thanks to everybody who attended and made the evening such a success, as over £600 was raised for our residential journey fund. We hope to see even more come along next year. Needless to say, the Infants won't be invited back in 2018!
