Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Next Friday we will celebrate the Platinum Jubilee here at school ahead of the national celebrations during half term. The day will be packed with fun and we have our fingers crossed for a sunny day. Events we have planned are:

• Red White or Blue Mufti - chose red, white or blue mufti or go all out and dress as a royal

• Jubilee assembly - learning more about the Queen's reign

• A Royal British Bake off - children can show off their baking skills to make cakes for our street party. No nuts or nut products please.

• Street Party in the playground - children will be able to bring in picnic food to enjoy with their classmates; lists will be circulated via the reps next week. Again no nuts or nut products please.

We also have a special Buckingham Palace Garden Party lunch for those children who have school dinners (menu to follow), a Platinum Jubilee Coin and a special book for each child - watch this space! It promises to be a great start to the Jubilee celebrations.
