New School Council Announced 

Over the last two weeks the whole school has been involved in hustings to elect their representatives to the School Council. A huge number of children stood for office and bravely made speeches at their year group assemblies so, well done to everyone who took part. It’s great to see that the Strand tradition of developing responsible and committed citizens continues. The results of the elections were announced in assembly yesterday and the whole school was able to congratulate their new representatives when they received their badge of office. The School Council for 2014 is:-

Year 3 - Alex, Gloria and Sanjana

Year 4 - Angelita, Alia and Bill

Year 5 - Chloe, Wilf and Eli

Year 6 - Jarod, Aniela and Jonathan

We wish them all well for their term in office.
