New School Council Announced

Over the last two weeks the whole school has been involved in hustings to elect their representatives to the
School Council. A huge number of children stood for office and bravely made speeches at their year group
assemblies. Well done to everyone who took part. It’s great to see that the Strand tradition of developing
responsible and committed citizens continues. The results of the elections were announced in assembly this
week and the whole school was able to congratulate their new representatives as they received their badge

name for our campaign to get people reading.
