Holiday Reading Challenge

Over the Christmas holiday we would like you to read at least one book and be prepared to talk about it
when you return in January. It must be a book that you have not read before. We have compiled a list of
types of books that you may wish to choose from:

• A classic (more than 50 years old) e.g. The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Oliver Twist
• A best seller from 2019
• A book from Bug Club
• A book of poetry e.g. Spike Milligan, Michael Rosen
• A graphic novel/comic story
• A book from our recommended reading list from our website

Remember your local library is a great place to visit with an amazing selection of books to choose from.
