Green Power Goes Online

On Tuesday our air source heat pumps were commissioned, making our green heating system complete. The heat pumps are complemented by back-up gas boilers and photovoltaic solar panels which provided 38% of our electricity in the last year. The system will be further improved in the summer when all radiators and piping will be upgraded to more energy-efficient models. It has been a long road to reach this point with the team spending many hours in meetings with engineers and electrical specialists. Safe to say Mr Wicks and Mr Thorne are now incredibly knowledgeable about the intricacies of sustainable heating! Watch this space for news of further green improvements.
