Big Pedal Update

The response to this year’s Big Pedal has been awesome, with the bike and scooter racks overflowing from day 1. We are currently standing 6 th in the National Event with a massive 22,676 points, 1st in Hounslow and 1st in the London Race – not bad as we have been without 5B for the second week of the race! However more important than positions and numbers is the fact that so much of the school has become involved – on Wednesday a massive 66% of our school population scootered or cycled to school – a real achievement. Thank you very much to parents who are bearing with us over the inevitable parking issues that have arisen from having such a vast number of bikes and scooters to park. Thank you to the Marshalls Charlie, Alessia, Wilf, Oscar, Dylan and Matthew who are providing a sterling ‘Valet Parking’ Service before and after school – lining up the scooters for easy collection. Watch out as we may be on ITV news this evening, however given the major events that have happened over the last 24 hours we may not make the cut.
