A Note From The Chair of Governors

I am delighted to inform you that the 2014 KS2 results are now available and, with national data now released, the results from Strand Juniors look even more impressive. These results will be published in the national press, and you can read the full details above, but we feel that they reflect only part of what is special about our school. As a Governing Body we are exceptionally proud of these results; we feel they are a fine testament to the committed, dedicated and talented staff and children we are lucky enough to have at Strand. However, we are equally proud of the other aspects of Strand life that the publication of these tables fails to report – the sporting, musical, drama and artistic efforts and achievements of our children and the eagerness to offer friendship and support to others during their time at Strand to name but a few.

On behalf of the GB, I wish you all a happy school year ahead and I look forward to seeing those of you located on the other side of the divide when the wall comes down!
