6S's Remembrance Assembly

The day started with 6S taking us back to WW1 for a thoughtful and empathetic Remembrance assembly. The children unpicked the beginnings of the war and explained just why this horrific conflict began. During the reading of the classic ‘In Flanders Field’ the children spoke with such emotion and empathy it gave the poem more resonance. Finishing with ‘We shall remember’ there was a strong sense that the future is in safe hands with 6S. Well done.
