5MK's Assembly

5MK started the day with a cracking assembly about Guru Nanak’s Birthday and why is it celebrated by the Sikh community. Explaining the message of the Guru, that everyone is equal and should be treated the same, very clearly 5MK then moved on to explore how birthdays are celebrated in our diverse Strand community. The Strictly Come Dancing segment was brilliant with some amazing dances and outfits on display. Most importantly 5MK enjoyed every minute of their performance and so did their audience; the cheers from the second sitting could be heard in my office! Well done to 5MK, and of course Mrs Mehmet and Mrs Kitson who masterminded the piece!
