5C's Assembly
5C pulled off an outstanding performance this morning during their Remembrance Assembly. Their
assembly focused on the World War I conflict and the children performed their own poems and letters home from the front. Everyone spoke with great enthusiasm and confidence. The children (with a little help from Alan Branch) had made a beautiful film that made us reflect on the Strand Values and how, if we all held them in our hearts and used them in our lives, we could avoid war. The audience were moved by the message sent, and there was not a dry eye in the house. As Mrs Harrison said, if these children are the future then the world is in safe hands!
