4N's Ramadan Assembly

This morning, 4N started the Holy month of Ramadan off perfectly with their excellent assembly. 4N explained the special place Ramadan holds in the life of Muslims and how they practice the 5 pillars of Islam. The children spoke clearly, acted and even sang beautifully – no doubt inspired by Mr Murray whose dulcet tones have been heard around the school this week. It was especially lovely that members of 4N brought in their prayer mats, Qur'ans and prayer beads to share with us and gave us an insight into their worship. Well done 4N (and Mr Murray and Miss Gilbert – it really was a team effort!). Salam Alaikum.
