4M's Assembly

Ending the week with a class assembly is always a treat and that was certainly the case this morning when 4M showed us just how much they have learnt and remembered about sound and electricity. The demonstration, explanation and live experimentation was of a standard worthy of a television documentary. Amongst the wealth of scientific information, the assembly featured a marvellous brass performance which was swiftly followed by some ‘pitch perfect’ straw blowing where all the ‘musicians’ managed to make their straw produce a differently pitched note. What incredible skill! A topical quiz gave the audience a chance to participate and the dangers of electricity were spelled out loud and clear, helping to keep us all safe. Best of all though, the assembly was a great team effort with everyone playing their part to make it a thoroughly engaging start to the day. A huge ‘well done’ to 4M and Miss Maynard.
