4C’s Cracking Anglo Saxon Assembly

4C had us in stitches this morning with their hysterical assembly on the Anglo Saxons! The action focussed on the somewhat gory side to the invasions with lots of swords and helmets on display. Ever the musicians here at Strand 4C worked a mini brass performance in as well, although I’m not sure the Anglo Saxons played the trombone! There were some very funny lines and great performances but underneath it all 4C showed a real understanding of what made Alfred the Great great; simply the Strand Values! A great message to end on. Well done to 4C for a great start to the day.
