About The Swan Centre
To quote one of our families the Swan Centre is about 'promoting inclusiveness in a way that is special and individual to every child'
The Swan Centre
The Swan Centre is made up of three classes: Kingfisher, which has Reception and Key Stage 1 children, Otter which is for lower Key Stage 2 pupils (Year 3 and Year 4), and River which is for upper Key Stage 2 pupils (Year 5 and Year 6).
All the pupils in the Swan Centre have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and an EHCP.
The Centre has a Sensory Room and an Outdoor Learning Area.
Where possible children play in the main playgrounds and eat their lunch in the main dining hall.
We have adjusted the times of the school day to make transitions smoother for children attending the Swan Centre. The day starts at 9:00 am and ends at 3:15 pm.
