Strand Take Part in Borough Athletics

The Fountain Leisure Centre was resounding with cheers today during the Borough Athletics. The team from Strand (Kimen, Khanya, Christian, Amelie, Anna P, Anna Q, Patrick, Natalia, Tierny and Karneil) won a number of their heat events including the relay, the hockey and the tennis but were beaten by one point by Hounslow Heath. The eventual winners were St Mary's Isleworth who had a fantastic team. The day was a huge success and great fun even the mass Tai Chi session. Well done team.
